Calibration
Differences from Rokoko Studio
Section titled “Differences from Rokoko Studio”In Rokoko Studio, calibration is handled internally by Studio’s own algorithms and guided through a UI flow. Studio also maps the sensors onto a skeleton, which adds a calibration between the user’s body and the sensors. The SDK works at a lower level: it has no notion of a skeleton, so it only calibrates and initializes the sensors themselves, and exposes these procedures directly for you to trigger. As a result, calibration in the SDK differs substantially.
How this works depends on the product. The Smartsuit Pro II has an explicit calibration command, while the Smartgloves have no calibration command and instead rely on automatic initialization procedures. See the product-specific pages for details:
